DESCRIPTION
Body and Ball Valve Type: Full Bore, Low Operating Torque, 316 Stainless Steel
Serviceable valve - removable via threaded, internally threaded NPT port
The valve is equipped with a PTFE seal to maximize the corrosion resistance and service life of the ball valve
This versatile manual lever ball valve offers excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for a variety of applications
Rated working pressure: 1000 WOG, 1000 psi (pounds per square foot) maximum, suitable for water, oil, gas, temperature range: -60F to 450F, fluid media, suitable for liquids and gases
This ball valve is made of stainless steel 316, which has higher corrosion resistance than brass/copper, and has a plastic covered lever handle for manual control of the switch. This in-line valve features standard port flow and 0.75” internal National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads for joining two externally threaded pipe fittings in the same orientation. It is rated for over 600 pounds per square inch (psi) cold working pressure (CWP) and over 150 psi for saturated steam. Ball valves use a spherical disc to control flow between pipes, pipes or hoses. When the hole through the ball valve disc is in the same direction as the inlet and outlet of the valve, flow is allowed. When the ball valve disc rotates 90 degrees horizontally, the flow is blocked, making the hole of the ball valve disc perpendicular to the opening of the valve. They are primarily used in air, gas, liquid, chemical, petroleum and steam applications. Megairon is an international company specializing in the sale of pipes, fittings and valves.
